Warrior Football Clinches #6 Seed in CIF Playoffs

Army and Navy Academy Football Team in CIF PlayoffsDear Warrior Football Fans,

The end of the regular season did not turn out like we hoped after we lost a tough Pacific League game to a talented Tri-City Christian team 34-10. We simply made too many mistakes in each phase of the game, which you cannot do against a good team. This loss brings our final regular season record to 7-3 (2-2 Pacific League) – a tremendous improvement over our 1-9 season last year.

The Warriors now head into play-offs in Division V with the goal to be CIF Champs.

The Warriors were awarded the #6 seed and travel to #3 Vincent Memorial High School on November 13 at 7:00 PM. Tthe game will be played at El Centro High School (1001 W. Brighton Avenue, El Centro, CA). After the Army Navy Warriors beat the Scots of Vincent Memorial, we will take on the winner #2 seed Crawford and #7 seed Maranatha Christian (who we defeated 15-14 on October 30).

While the players and coaches are disappointed with the results of our last game, I have no doubt they will have the best week of practice of the year in preparation for the Quarterfinals!

Go Warriors!
