For the fourth consecutive year, Army and Navy Academy’s Interact Club is raising money to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in support of their mission of finding a cure for blood cancers.
The club is participating in the annual Pasta for Pennies fundraiser, joining over 27,000 schools throughout the nation in the effort to support the therapies and treatments of blood cancer patients and their families. It is part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student Series campaign to educate youth across the United States about dangerous blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
This year, the Interact Club hopes to double the funds raised during last year’s drive. To motivate giving, the club has set up a competition between the companies to see who can raise the most funds. The company that raises the greatest amount of money wins a pasta party from the Olive Garden!
Giving is easy. Just visit this website, enter the amount you’d like to give, and click the red “Donate Today” button. Type the name of the company you’d like to support in the text box under “Your Message”. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Ortiz, the Interact Club Advisor.
Thank you for your support of the Interact Club and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
