Carlsbad, CA – Army and Navy Academy is honored to welcome Dr. Patrizia Zary as our new Dean of Academics. With a long-standing dedication to educational advancement and a rich history of academic leadership, Dr. Zary is poised to further our commitment to creating a world-class learning environment for our Cadets.

Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter in our Academy’s distinguished legacy of fostering young men to become leaders prepared to excel both in learning and life.”
A lifelong learner, Dr. Patrizia Zary has developed tools and collaborated on strategies for the learning process to boost, encourage, and champion students’ learning development. She has contributed to the secondary and higher education systems and the learning and development industry, wearing various hats since 2001. Dr. Zary has also held leadership positions that enable her to engage well with students and faculty needs. Her expertise and experience are in delivering innovative solutions to complex problems, developing human capital, and building infrastructure that positively impacts the bottom line.

With a doctorate in Leadership, master’s degrees in Business Administration, Education, and Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Dr. Zary’s credentials are a testament to her lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Her multilingual capabilities and experience as a Military spouse enrich our Academy with diverse perspectives and a deep understanding of the values we hold dear.
She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an honor society representing knowledge, duty, and power, demonstrating leadership attributes and commitment to equity, was the Delta Mu Delta inducted faculty, overseeing and supporting the Colorado Springs Chapter when employed at the University of Phoenix and is also an active member of the Lion’s Club International.
