Caleb Morris ’15 of Army and Navy Academy has officially signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, and to play on its Division I Men’s Basketball team. He joins numerous other athletes from the school who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, including former teammate 7’0” Cheikh N’diaye who currently plays basketball for the Oregon State University Beavers.

The 6’4” team captain for the Army and Navy Academy Warriors has been a 4-year varsity player on the team. This year, he led the Warriors in one of the team’s most successful seasons to date, making it all the way to the semi-finals of the Division V California State Tournament.

“Caleb Morris is a young man who is prepared for the Division I journey,” says Tim Cook, Athletic Director and Assistant Basketball Coach at Army and Navy Academy. “He has progressed throughout his career into a highly efficient shooter, passer, rebounder and overall player.  His mental and physical preparation the Academy has developed his skills for the collegiate level. I am so excited to see what the Air Force Academy will bring for Caleb on and off the floor. He will continue his life lessons and build on what is already a strong foundation.”
