Heartbreaking Loss for Warrior Baseball

The Warriors traveled to Foothills Christian yesterday for a showdown with the Ocean League’s first place team. Starting pitcher Noah Brown pitched an excellent game, holding the Knights to 2 runs over 6 innings.

In the bottom of the 7th inning, two Warrior errors led to the Knights scoring an unearned run to win the game, 3-2. It was a heartbreaking loss for the Warriors. Coach Larson let the team know how proud of them he was and how great they played.

The Warriors are now 9-9 for the season and 2-4 in the league. They are battling for a playoff berth, so the last two games will be extremely meaningful in their quest. The team is currently in a virtual tie for the 8th and final Division V playoff spot.

The Warriors have only two regular season games left on the schedule. Their next game is Wednesday, May 20, at home against Rock Academy. This game is the last home game and will be Senior Day for our senior players. Please join us in celebrating their achievements.
