The Warriors opened up conference play by hosting the number one team in the Pacific League, the Francis Parker Lancers. The Warriors got on the board first with a quick goal by Senior attackman, Luke Wilson. Then, the Lancers evened the score as both team traded possessions and fought hard on defense and offense.

The Lancers scored three more goals to end the first quarter with a 4-1 lead. Another quick goal by Luke Wilson and then oneby Senior midfielder, Colby Gibbs, made the score 4-3 in favor of the Lancers. Next, Senior LSM, Mason Roth, got a doorstep goal to tie the score 4-4.

Both teams were in business and fighting for the lead. Each team traded goals and by the end of the first half it was Francis Parker on top 7-6.

Solid play by the Lancers in the third quarter dulled a fourth quarter comeback by the Warriors as the Lancers went on to win 12-9. However, this game proved to all in attendance that the Warrior Lacrosse program is here to stay.

Next up in league play for the Warriors is Foothills Christian at home on Tuesday, April 28. Face off is at 6:00 PM. Hope to see you there!
