Army and Navy Academy Cadets volunteered at the Rotary Club of Carlsbad’s 33rd Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3. The event is a community tradition attended by hundreds of families each year.
“The Carlsbad Rotary Oktoberfest is a Carlsbad tradition and fun for the entire family,” says Matt Hall, Mayor of Carlsbad, “Every dime raised goes to support worthy local causes.” Proceeds from ticket sales go toward the Agua Hediona Lagoon Foundation and Solutions For Change.
Our Cadets volunteered in three-hour shifts, assisting guests and answering questions. They were there with other members of his school’s Interact Club, Rotary International’s service club for youth.
