The Warriors traveled to Southwest High School for the bulk of their last non-league match before the start of Pacific League play. From the opening face-off, the Warriors got off to a quick start and tallied four goals to one from Southwest. The Warriors never looked back and won 13-1.
Solid offensive play from Luke Wilson and Mason Roth set the tone, and game MVP Elijah Bisacca completely shut down Southwest’s top player throughout the entire game.
Colby Gibbs and Elijah Countryman continue to shine on midfield with a couple of points each as midfielder, Oscar Lama, grabbed every ground ball in sight. Eleven of the 13 goals scored by the Warriors were assisted and the “tic-tac-toe” passing was excellent.
The Warriors begin Pacific League play this Thursday against Francis Parker.
