FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Army and Navy Academy represents a tremendous step toward your student’s future success. We expect families to contribute to their student’s education to the best of their financial ability, but we also believe that enrollment should be available to highly qualified applicants who cannot afford full tuition. We are committed to building a diverse student body with unique talents, perspectives, and strengths.

The Academy has partnered with Clarity Financial Aid to ensure that our financial assistance process is comprehensive, fair, and accurate to maximize our impact. We use Clarity to help us understand your ability to contribute to your student’s educational costs.

Every request for need-based assistance is unique. When evaluating these requests, the Academy’s Financial Assistance Committee reviews your family’s financial picture along with your student’s full academic record, disciplinary history, and level of commitment to attend our school. Requests for need-based financial aid are considered only after a prospective family has completed their application, enrollment contract, and initial deposit.

APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Clarity Application for Financial Aid is a streamlined and user-friendly way for families to securely share key information. When analyzed by Clarity's software, schools are able to make financial aid determinations based on their budget, policies, and mission. Most families are able to complete the Clarity Application in less than 30 minutes. The Application is also mobile-friendly and does not need to be completed in a single sitting; you can always save your progress and return later.

  • The app fee is $60 per household and covers all the Clarity schools to which you are applying. Schools may require additional documents in addition to last year's taxes.
