THE ACADEMY COMMUNITY
Army and Navy Academy is geared exclusively for boys in grades 7 through 12. Established in 1910, we have over a century of proven excellence in academics, athletics, and leader development in young men. The Academy has consistently ranked among the top boarding and private schools in California on numerous review sites. While we are a boarding school, we also offer a day option for local students. The Academy welcomes students from across the U.S. and the world.
Our community of dedicated faculty and staff are passionate about supporting the Academy’s young men in all areas of their lives. The Academy follows rigorous University of California curriculum standards, offers advanced placement and honors classes, and career-oriented electives including aviation, cyber security, computer science, media, game development, and robust visual and performing arts. We offer JV and Varsity sports, clubs, weekend activities, international trips, stellar leadership training, and character development.
A CULTURE OF RESPECT
Our core values of honor, integrity, gratitude, compassion, respect, and responsibility, which guides us all to be, and become, virtuous servant leaders who uplift, serve, and inspire others. We teach our boys to live these values everyday in every interaction.
- We are a certified kindness company, and our programming utilizes the strategies and outcomes of the Anti-Defamation League No Place for Hate program.
- Our commitment to cadet safety extends beyond physical security; it encompasses the emotional and social well-being of every member of our global campus.
- We live and are educated by a governing Honor Code: Cadets respect each other, they do not lie, cheat, steal or tolerate those that do.
