Our Commencement celebrations were a success!

Check out the highlights, photos, and videos!

Thank you to all our parents and families who came to support the Cadets and commence an incredible year! As always, we weren’t short of activities or events for families, giving everyone plenty of chances to celebrate.

The events began on Thursday with the Mother-Son Tea, a special tradition reserved only for the Senior class and their mothers, grandmothers, and mother-figures in their lives.

This was immediately followed by the High School Achievement Awards where Cadets were acknowledged for their academic achievements this year with certificates of recognition or scholarships. This year’s recipient of the Army ROTC Scholarship was Hunter Edmond.

This day concluded with a Middle School Bonfire and Barbeque while the Senior class, their families, faculty, and staff spent the evening at Camp Pendleton for the Senior-Parent Dinner and Baccalaureate Ceremony.

This Senior event is an intimate gathering where the Senior Class presented their families with a special video presentation, Honor Council and ASB gifts were given, and speeches were made by various members of the Senior class, including our “Lifer,” William Yan. The Baccalaureate speaker was ANA 2011 graduate, Lamar Greenwood.

Friday was the big day! We began with the Middle School Promotion Ceremony and the 8th graders officially graduated from the Echo Company and were welcomed into their new companies at the Change of Command Parade. This is also where the current leaders transferred over their responsibility to the new leaders of next year’s graduating class.

Then finally, the Commencement Ceremony concluded the year with speeches from the Valedictorian, Zonghan Li and Salutatorian, Hunter Edmond, as well as the Commencement speaker, Cody Zoschak from the Class of 2009.

It was naturally a very emotional day and ended with the Seniors being dismissed after singing the Alma Mater by the Senior Well.

The Commencement Ceremony was live-streamed, and we welcome you to watch the full recording.
