Brittany Siegel is the Lead Counselor at Army and Navy Academy, and her caseload consists of Cadets with last names that begin with C-O. Her primary responsibility is assisting Cadets with their personal, academic, and college/career goals. Brittany is one of the Advisors for the Anti-Bullying Club and is passionate about spreading kindness and positivity on campus. She also serves as the AP Coordinator and is in charge of ordering and hosting ANA’s AP exams.
Brittany obtained her College Counseling Certificate from UCSD’s extension program in 2018. She is passionate about helping Cadets explore the many college options that are available and guiding them through the college application process. She is also a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and stays updated on developments within higher education.
Before joining the ANA team in 2017, she was a counselor with San Diego Unified School District and has worked in both elementary and high school settings. While at the University of San Diego, she completed a Youth Participatory Action Research Project examining the private school experience of international students. She is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and is constantly striving for professional growth as a counselor. In her free time, Brittany enjoys running, hiking, and hanging out with her dog, Hamilton. She ran a full marathon in Anchorage, Alaska with her entire family in 2019 and considers it one of her greatest accomplishments. She is a Michigan native and loves visiting in the summer to spend time with her family and friends.
