Catie Morgan is the HS Counselor for students with last names A-H. She has 18 years’ experience counseling in a wide variety of settings, including Public, Private, Boarding and International Schools. She is the College Counselor Liaison but her role includes supporting cadets in personal/social development and career exploration. While completing her Master’s degree, Catie was a member of AmeriCorp working with “at risk” youth in southeast San Diego. This experience deepened her love of helping and mentorship. Catie firmly believes that every child deserves a champion – an adult who won’t give up on them and who understands the power of connection. Catie is just such adult.
Growing up in San Diego as the youngest of 8 children, Catie grew up with parents who instilled the power of learning and discovery, as they were teachers themselves…as are 6 or her 7 siblings. You could say that education runs through her veins.
Catie is currently earning her College Counseling Certification from the University of California, San Diego.
In her free time, Catie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys, traveling, shopping, jewelry making, the theatre, anything in the sun, and spending time with her siblings and mom.
